Requesting an Office or Cubicle Move

As part of our ongoing efforts to provide a better service experience to our campus community, Physical Facilities Management (PFM) and Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) have partnered to create a one-stop location to request the move of an office or cubicle.

To request an office move, please complete this form. The form contains the information that Howard University service providers need to successfully complete your move. Once submitted, PFM and ETS will work with you to confirm and coordinate your move.

Things to keep in mind:

  • Requests for office moves should be submitted no less than ten business days in advance. Same or next-day moves are not possible.
  • Phones cannot be moved without ETS assistance.
  • Office moves consisting of a large number of people (eight or more) or to different buildings may require additional approval from management.

Note: Calls placed during off-hours will be transferred to the University’s operations center; email is not checked when the office is closed.

Work Requests

The Physical Facilities Management office accepts work requests online, by telephone, email or walk-in. When contacting the office about a work request, please remember to provide as much information as possible. All requests are entered, dispatched and tracked.

If you have a Howard University email address, you will receive email notifications throughout the process, updating you on the status of your work request.
